I wish this video had been available when I was doing research on a new mixer. I am so glad I got the Electrolux Assistant, but this would have sealed the deal much sooner.
Post Punk Kitchen Episode 1
One of my all time favorite vegans is Isa Chandra Moskowitz. She and her friend, Terry Romero, another awesome vegan blogger/chef used to have a public access show called the Post Punk Kitchen. Isa is putting some of the videos up on YouTube. Here is Episode 1, Sushi...
Hi,
First of all – great page! 🙂 Really great design, videos and notes/”articles”.
I’m 27 years old, living in Denmark and all of my friends want the KitchenAid or Herkules as their kitchen machine.
The Herkules was recently on sale for 3000 DKK (app 700 USD) so I called my mom for an advice on kitchen machines. She have had a Kenwood back in the 80’s but it broke down and then she bought a Ballerup MasterMixer. Loved the machine but she wore it out and needed a new help in the kitchen. Then she got the Electrolux Assistent but she didn’t have the same energy for cooking as she use to and therefor she only uses it making specially formed cookies for christmas.
She gave me the Assistent so that I could try a great machine before investing in my own.
Watching your video on dough is a great help for me. My mom always used the hook for bread dough.
There is also a juice maker where you press your fruit, berries or vegetables and the pulp is going out the side and the juice in to your container. BUT I don’t know how to put the bits and pieces together and make a great fruit/veggie juice. Do you know any sites where I can find a video that shows this??
And do you know where to purchase a coffey / flower mill?? I have seen one in a video but where to buy it is my biggets problem 😉
And a happy new year!

Hi Aase,
Thank you for commenting. I’m not sure where to buy the accessories in Denmark. I bought my mixer in the United States through Pleasant Hills Grain. They have the accessories, too. http://www.pleasanthillgrain.com/magic_mill_dlx_mixer.aspx

Thank you very much! I will look into it and try to get the accessories I need 🙂
